Our New Season Begins!

Friday, October 11 at 7:30pm
St. Paul & St. Andrew United Methodist Church
263 W 86th St (at West End Avenue)

The program will open with the deep yet sweet Andante Festivo of Sibelius, followed by guest violin soloist Chelsea Xia, who makes a triumphant return after her 2017 Mendelssohn, in Sibelius' Violin Concerto. Brahms' first symphony echoes the classical forms, with deeply personal and passionate music.

Outstanding! I was enthralled. . . swept away by the music.

We are always looking for talented new musicians.

Please contact us at riversideorch@gmail.com for more information about how to join the orchestra for a concert, a season, or more! String players are almost always needed and other availability of other positions varies.

Tell us a little about yourself - your experience with other orchestras, interests, level of playing ability - whatever you think will be helpful. We do not have a formal auditioning process but we do expect players to maintain a high level of playing ability -- and to practice!
